This Refund Policy explains how DILAYS handles refunds, cancellations, credits, billing corrections, and related remedies for purchases made directly through our Services.
This policy applies together with our Terms of Service, any order form, checkout terms, subscription terms, product-specific terms, and any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. If this policy gives you more protection than the applicable checkout terms, this policy controls. If mandatory law gives you more protection, mandatory law controls.
This policy does not reduce statutory rights, legal guarantees, warranty rights, chargeback rights, cancellation rights, or other non-waivable protections that may apply based on your location, purchase type, or sales channel.
Scope and Refund Eligibility
Refund eligibility depends on the type of purchase, the reason for the request, the applicable order terms, and the law that applies. This policy is designed to cover the following purchase types:
- Digital services or SaaS
- Subscriptions or memberships
Unless a different timeframe is stated at checkout or required by law, eligible refund requests should be submitted within 14 days after purchase or subscription renewal.
We will review refund requests in good faith and will provide refunds, credits, cancellations, corrections, or other remedies where required by law or where this policy says they are available.
A refund or other remedy may be available when:
- We are unable to provide the purchased Service, access, or product covered by your order
- A digital service, download, report, template, or online product is unavailable, defective, materially misdescribed, or cannot be delivered as described
- You were charged after a valid subscription cancellation became effective
- You were charged in error or charged twice
- You exercise a valid statutory cancellation, withdrawal, cooling-off, warranty, or legal guarantee right
- A specific plan, promotion, or written order term expressly allows a refund
Refunds are not guaranteed for dissatisfaction unrelated to a defect, change of mind outside an applicable cancellation period, failure to use a purchased Service, incompatibility caused by your own systems, violation of our Terms, or circumstances outside our control, unless mandatory law or a specific order term provides otherwise.
Subscriptions, Renewals, and Cancellations
If you buy a subscription, membership, plan, or other recurring Service, the billing cycle, renewal terms, price, cancellation method, and any trial or promotional terms should be disclosed before you enroll or before you are charged.
You may cancel a subscription as follows: Customers can cancel from account billing settings or by contacting support. Cancellation normally prevents future renewal charges.
For subscription refunds, our standard rule is: Cancellation stops future renewals; current period is not prorated.
If a free or discounted trial converts to a paid subscription, we will provide trial and renewal information before enrollment and any additional notices required by applicable law. If you cancel before the trial or promotional period ends, we will not intentionally charge you for the next paid period.
If we materially change the price or renewal terms of a subscription, we will provide notice and cancellation instructions where required by law. If a charge is made after a cancellation properly took effect, contact us so we can review and correct the charge.
Digital Services, Downloads, and Online Content
For digital services, software, downloads, online content, templates, reports, generated materials, or access-based products, refund rights may depend on whether the digital performance has started, whether the content has been downloaded or accessed, whether the service has been fully performed, and whether you consented to immediate performance.
For digital products and services, our standard rule is: Refunds may be limited after access, download, export, or substantial use.
Where applicable law allows, you may lose a cooling-off or withdrawal right for digital content or fully performed services after performance begins with your express consent and acknowledgement. This does not affect remedies for defective, non-conforming, unavailable, or misdescribed digital products or services.
If a digital Service fails to operate substantially as described, is unavailable due to our fault, or cannot be delivered, we may attempt to restore access, correct the issue, provide replacement access, extend the service period, issue a credit, or provide a refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
Refunds are generally not available for digital content or services after substantial use, download, access, consumption, export, generation, or completion, unless required by law or expressly stated in the applicable order terms.
Items and Charges That May Be Non-Refundable
Unless required by applicable law or expressly stated in the applicable order terms, refunds may not be available for:
- Completed services after performance has been fully provided
- Digital content, downloads, reports, generated outputs, or online services after access, download, export, consumption, or substantial use
- Activated software, license keys, account credits, or similar digital access credentials
- Gift cards, stored-value credits, vouchers, or promotional credits
- Final-sale, clearance, or limited promotion items, where lawful and clearly disclosed
- Setup fees, usage-based fees, third-party charges, and already-incurred costs
- Accounts suspended or terminated for material violation of our Terms, fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity
These exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law. They do not limit remedies for defective, misdescribed, unsafe, unavailable, or non-conforming products or services.
How to Request a Refund or Billing Correction
To request a refund, cancellation review, credit, or billing correction, contact DILAYS at legal@dilays.com.
Please include enough information for us to review the request, such as:
- Name and contact information used for the purchase
- Order number, invoice number, account email, or transaction reference
- Product, Service, plan, or subscription involved
- Date of purchase, renewal, cancellation, access issue, or charge
- Reason for the request
- Screenshots, error details, access logs, or other evidence of a digital-service issue, where relevant
We may ask for additional information to verify the purchase, prevent fraud, diagnose an issue, or confirm eligibility.
If your purchase was made through an app store, marketplace, reseller, distributor, payment platform, or other third party, refund requests may need to be submitted through that third party and may be governed by its refund process.
Refund Timing, Method, and Amount
Approved refunds will be issued within the timeframe required by applicable law. Where no specific legal timeframe applies, we aim to issue approved refunds within 14 days after approval.
Refunds are normally issued to the original payment method. If the original payment method is unavailable, expired, or technically impossible to refund, we may use another lawful refund method. Processing times may vary depending on banks, card networks, payment processors, app stores, or marketplaces.
The refund amount may be reduced where permitted by law for non-refundable third-party charges, benefits already consumed, usage-based fees, discounts, credits, or other amounts that do not need to be refunded.
We do not provide refunds in the form of store credit only where cash or original-method refund is required by law. Promotional credits, coupons, discounts, or bundled offers may be handled according to their terms and applicable law.
Regional and Statutory Consumer Rights
Depending on your location and purchase type, you may have non-waivable consumer rights. For example, consumers in some jurisdictions may have cooling-off rights for distance purchases, legal guarantees for defective or misdescribed products and services, rights to clear pre-purchase information, rights to cancel subscriptions, and rights to refunds for unauthorized or incorrect charges.
For European Union and United Kingdom consumers, distance purchases may include a 14-day withdrawal or cancellation period, subject to exceptions for certain goods, digital content, and fully performed services. Legal guarantee rights may also apply when goods, digital content, or services are faulty, misdescribed, or not fit for purpose.
For United States consumers, state and federal rules may apply to automatic renewals, free trials, misdescribed products or services, unauthorized charges, unfair or deceptive practices, and chargebacks. For California consumers, automatic renewal and continuous-service plans may require clear renewal terms, affirmative consent, renewal notices in certain cases, annual reminders, and easy cancellation methods.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
You may have the right to dispute a charge with your payment provider. Before filing a chargeback, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the issue faster. Initiating a chargeback while also pursuing a refund through us may delay resolution. Fraudulent, abusive, or duplicate refund requests may result in denial of the request, account restriction, or other lawful action.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date shows when this policy was most recently revised. Changes apply prospectively unless required otherwise by law. Material changes affecting active subscriptions or pending purchases will be handled as required by applicable law.
